Despite all the negative opinions amplified by people who think they own the franchise and it should be made how they want it and despite my waking up and spending all day in a severe depression, I still enjoyed the film. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't so depressed but what can you do? It's sadly how my brain is built.
I didn't particularly care about seeing the film but I went anyway, expecting nothing, I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. It won't win film of the century or anything but for an origin story it was fine and most importantly fun.
Thats the important part. Did you have fun with the film? If so then it's a good film for you. And I had fun with it.
Wow great lead for the role... best casting since Iron Man, just a flick of her eyes and it goes from humour to “bring it on”
Action, humour (filling in the time line) Marvel Miss Supergirl / topgun hits all the targets... not sure about the CGI characters... but adequately done. 3d non existent
This was a fantastic and commanding MCU romp; another amazingly balanced human-superhero character meets - this time - the 90s! Loved the trip back in time. Loved the casting - thought choice for Carol Danvers was spot on. Loved the action - incredible journey that blasts all the way through with a satisfying ending. AND, this is a worthy female role to stand alongside our Black Widow and Scarlet Witch. Brilliantly enjoyable film and a superb build up to End Game. Anticipation for her arrival on the scene has been thoroughly whetted!! Well done Marvel! C'MON!
